Camara Jones MD, MPH, PhD, a member of the Healing ARC Campaign’s Advisory Council, has been a leading scholar and advocate for naming, measuring, and addressing the impacts of racism on the health and well-being of our nation and the world. Dr. Jones is a Past President of the American Public Health Association and is currently a Leverhulme Visiting Professor in Global Health and Social Medicine at King’s College London. The Healing ARC campaign proudly presents some of her outstanding work. We urge health care administrators and others in both public and private sectors to join with communities and implement solutions to eliminate racism in their health systems. The quality of life in their communities will improve for all.
